national and local holidays, facilities such as museums,
theaters, sightseeing tours, and shopping may be limited.
In such instances, whenever possible, adjustments
may be made to minimize your inconvenience.
However, if your enjoyment might be diminished by such
minor limitations, please check with the Italian

Tour Escorts/Guides:
Some tours may be conducted by multilingual escorts and
may include passengers speaking other languages. Longer
tours may warrant escorts to be substituted during the
tour.
Meals:
As provided in each program. Continental breakfast
consists of coffee, tea, rolls, butter and jam.
Hotels:
All hotels are rated by the Italian Government. Air
conditioning and heating are not standard in many hotels
abroad and are not guaranteed. Some hotels may charge a
supplement for air-conditioning upon check in. It may
occur that the allotment of rooms in some hotels may be exhausted
at the time of booking. In this case, Italiatour will try
to obtain alternate accommodations in the same category.
If the alternate hotel is confirmed at a supplement and
is not acceptable to the passenger(s), Italiatour will
refund all deposits, provided passengers' written
cancellation is received within ten (10) days of
Italiatour's notification of this price increase.
Accommodations:
Accommodations are based on two persons sharing a
twin-bedded room with private bath or shower. Single
rooms, while assuring privacy, are small and not as well
situated as double rooms. Triple rooms generally consist
of normal twin-bedded accommodations with a cot or rollaway for the third tour participant. This may not be
comfortable for three adults.

No claim will be considered and no action will lie
against Italiatour unless typewritten notice of claim is
received by Italiatour within 30 days of the completed
tour. No refund will be given for unused services or any portion of
the tour.
Responsibility:
The responsibility of Italiatour as the tour operator
and/or its agents is limited. They act only as agents for
the passenger in regards to travel, whether by aircraft,
motorcoach, private car, railroad or any other
conveyance, and assume no liability for injury, damage,
loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be
occasioned either by reason of defect through the acts of
God, dangers incident to sea, fire, breakdown in
machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other
authorities de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared
or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots,
theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or
customs regulations, or from any causes beyond
Italitatour's control, or arising from its own
negligence, or from any loss or damage resulting from
improper passports, visas, or other documents. Italiatour
has the right to decline to accept or to retain any tour
passenger should such persons health or general
deportment impede the operation of the tour to the
detriment of the other passengers. Tour services
including, but not limited to, carriage by land, carriage
by sea, carriage by air, guide service, hotel
accommodations, restaurants and all services, are
furnished by contractors who are independent and do not
act for, or on behalf of, Italiatour and Italiatour is
not responsible for any injuries or damages arising from
any negligence of those independent contractors. The
acceptance of tickets and vouchers by the participant or
by his assignee(s) shall be deemed to be acceptance by
such person(s) of the above conditions and an
acknowledgment and agreement by such person(s) that
participating air carriers shall not be liable for any
portions of the tour other than air transportation. The
contract of carriage (i.e. passenger ticket) issued by
Alitalia Airlines or other participating air carrier
shall constitute the sole supplement by or subjected to
its duly filed tariffs and any applicable international
and/or domestic laws and regulations.
Handicapped Passengers:
Italiatour will make reasonable effort to accommodate
handicapped participants, depending on the nature and
extent of their disabilities. Such tour participants must
advise Italiatour at the time of booking of any special
assistance such passengers may require. Italiatour

participants, require such participants to be accompanied
by a suitable attendant, as the case may require, should
Italiatour determine that the safety of the handicapped
participants or other tour participants can not be reasonably accommodated. Italiatour notes that many participating hotels, railroads, bus lines, foreign
flag carriers, etc. are exempt from U.S. laws and
regulations regarding handicapped persons and Italiatour,
therefore, makes no representations that these entities
